We also celebrated our second birthday this year - Lawmanda turned 6 years old!
Answers to questions above :)

We had our first birthday this week! Barak turned 6 years old. The students had a great time celebrating.
Ask your child about NWEA testing, King & Queen and our new Star Word "a." For our new Star Word, we put together mixed-up sentences, worked on a poetry page and read a mini-book.

Congratulations! Your child completed his or her first week of Kindergarten! I have noticed students working hard in class and getting more comfortable with school as they become familiar with the routine and have fun meeting friends.
Be sure to ask your child about our Morning Meeting, Author of the Month and Math Songs!
Remember to send the "Me" bag, First Day of School sheet and colored portfolio page to school with your child if you have not done so yet. Have your children get some rest for another fun week. :)

Your first day of Kindergarten has arrived! Come with a smile and get excited to meet your classmates. It was wonderful to meet parents at open house, and I look forward to working with your children.
